on an amd64 architecture, amd could not plock it's pages in memory, and would,
under memory preasure be swapped out, and break.
I just run some tests under 7.1-PRERELEASE, and
- it seems that plock is working.
- amd is not being swapped out.
are you running with amd -S ?
