The easiest way to get started is:

   # cd /usr/ports/net/cvsup-mirror
   # make
   # make install

Then look to see what it did (for instance, it will put a command
into /etc/crontab to cvsup periodically; and it will put a cvsupd.sh
script into /usr/local/etc/rc.d, to start the cvsupd daemon.).

The port makes it really easy to set this up.
