I was able to make the atacontrol method work flawlessly via a simulated disk failure (formated it and did a atacontrol rebuild). Is gmirror more reliable? I still don't understand gmirror, how it works and how to properly set one up. That's probably why I'm resistant to working with it. - ------------------------------ Mike Loiterman grantADLER Tel: 630-302-4944 Fax: 773-442-0992 Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] PGP Key: 0xD1B9D18E -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGP 8.1 iQA/AwUBQjji7mjZbUnRudGOEQIDWgCdGFxrHT2XUptfsltycaI0bYcK5SwAn1ml ncVpUJu0bC0UgsqV1VSMNbcY =tKU6 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ freebsd-questions@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-questions To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
