Hi,
If I want to retain a port option (that perhaps I passed at the command line using -D) between uprades of a port, will portmanager handle this automatically or do the options need to be placed in make.conf?

Ah don't worry I have my answer. I need to use make.conf. Found it at the bottom of the portmanager man page. Great detail in the man page Mike. :)
