1st, don't sue me if I'm wrong :-) There are some gnu tools distributed with the base system - or at lease with the base source - that are under GPL. Nothing vital (system will run) as far as I can see, but anoying without: grep, cvs, patch, diff, gzip, cc... I think they can be omitted if you choose to, maybe see make.conf for options.

I could imagine that cvs be replaced by opencvs, the openbsd team started developing that.
