My Question is...how can I block my IP address so others won't see it???
As the other responses suggest, your question is not really clear. I guess what you want is to make your host unreachable from the internet. You set up firewall rules that block all incoming packets, FreeBSD supports a number of different ones, ipfw, ipfilter and packetfilter - se the handbook.
Note, once you have a connection - regardless of firewall - you can be discovered with arping provided that the pinging host is on the same physical network as you. Normally this is not a problem, and doesn't really matter if they can't connect anyway.
Cheers, Erik
