It's probably an issue with outdated source. do this: cd /usr/ports/net/cvsup-without-gui make all install clean rehash ... then create a supfile ... something like this: ee /etc/cvsupfile (to start the ee editor). Add the following lines: *default host=cvsup3.freebsd.org *default base=/usr *default prefix=/usr *default release=cvs tag=RELENG_5_3 *default delete use-rel-suffix *default compress src-all hit <ESC> to exit, and save the file. Then, issue this command from the command line: cvsup -g -L 2 /etc/cvsupfile This will update your /usr/src directory with relevant code for FreeBSD 5.3-RELEASE Finally, start from where you started: cd /usr/src make buildworld make installworld ... etc Make sure you read /usr/src/UPDATING (all the way through) before you restart "make buildworld" good luck! _______________________________________________ [email protected] mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-questions To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
