I just got a new usb 8-in-1 media reader and when it is plugged into my motherboard, my boot cycle hangs at:
npx0: [FAST] npx0: <math processor> on motherboard npx0: INT 16 interface acpi0: <A M I OEMXSDT> on motherboard Normally, a: acpi0: Power Button (fixed) Timecounter "ACPI-fast" frequency 3579545 Hz quality 1000 would come next, however it's completely hung. I can plug the device into my motherboard after boot (once i've booted without it) and it seems to work fine until I need to reboot and then it hangs again. 'camcontrol devilist' shows 4 lines for it: <USB2.0 SMARTMEDIA/XD \000\000\000?> at scbus1 target 0 lun 0 (da0,pass0) <USB2.0 CompactFlashCard \000\000\000?> at scbus1 target 0 lun 1 (da1,pass1) <USB2.0 SD/MMC card \000\000\000?> at scbus1 target 0 lun 2 (da2,pass2) <USB2.0 MemoryStick Card \000\000\000?> at scbus1 target 0 lun 3 (da3,pass3) 'acpidump -t -d' gives me : "acpidump: RSDT entry 2 (sig OEMB) is corrupt" among an otherwise normal looking dump. I have a ASUS p4p800 deluxe motherboard running 5.3-RELEASE-p2 my usb controller dmesg lines look like: Intel 82801EB (ICH5) USB controller USB-A What other debugging steps do I need to perform for this? -Stephen _______________________________________________ freebsd-questions@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-questions To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
