Prior to RELEASE 5.x default CD devices carried a 'partition' suffix of 'a' or 'c' but as of 4.x acd0a and acd0c were/are equivalent and correspond (I believe) to acd0 in 5.x. Man pages and other documentation in 4.x is not entirely consistent sometimes using /dev/acd0 and elsewhere /dev/acd0c.
