You want the i386 distribution. The Athlon XP is still only a 32-bit
processor, so the amd64 is unusable.
I'm thinking about installing 5.3 on box with an AMD Sempron 2800. I
think (?) that the Sempron is based on a 64-bit core.
So would I use the amd64 version?
