I got the driver from the NVIDIA site and it works without any problems. My system is 5.3 release and the card I use is:
nvidia0: <GeForce2 MX/MX 400> mem 0xd0000000-0xd7ffffff,0xde000000-0xdeffffff irq 16 at device 0.0 on pci1 I excluded Module "dri" ( I dont remember why ) and I use the Xorg library.
