for virus scanning you need something like ClamAV, amavis is wrapper application that can call anti-virus programs AFAIK.


Another wrapper program is MailScanner, that is widely used by many people including me..

To filter spam, I'd recommend SpamAssassin (www.spamassassin.org)

To filter viruses (is that what you mean by "secure") you could look
