I'm successfully doing the same thing you are trying here. How do you start tftpd? I have it launched from inetd with option "-s /var/tftp".
Thanks, I had no -s. I inserted -l -s /var/tftp, -l to get log in /var/log/messages
Now I get:==============
pxe_open: gateway ip: 192.168.0.1 Error: Stack underflow | /boot/kernel/kernel text=... ... Hit [Enter] to boot immediately, or any other key for command promt. Booting [/boot/kernel/kernel]... /boot/kernel/acpi.ko text=... ... =========================
It appears that it tries to mount with nfs because when sniffing i see udp packets to port 2049. So then it hangs. I don't get to loading the memory file system.
If you have a working setup (loader.rc), would you share (mail off list if you prefer)?
Thanks.
