I think most commecrial vendors use some kind of QOS from FreeBSD or Linux anyway. Besides I don't think that buying a $1000 device for better quiality of my $14/month Vonage line is a good idea.

Funny, I thought that's what Dummynet did. It seems that you wouldn't want to steer a user into a horribly overpriced closed-source rate-limiting solutuion when it's available for free in the OS.
