What happens when you try to ssh? It is good to describe what "error" you are seeing beyond "it does not work."
Everything else (pinging the machine, Samba service) works fine.
What can be done?
Is sshd running?
ps auxww | grep sshd
Maybe sshd died or needs to be restarted or something. ;)
