If you're unfamiliar with UNIX and need some tutorials to help you find your way around, Dru Lavigne's articles at http://www.onlamp.com/pub/ct/15 are a great way to get to know FreeBSD and UNIX in general. It takes some time and a lot of trial and error but it's worth it. Good luck!
