Hi, I doubt it is samba that is the cause of your problem. The reason I say this is because you mention the 30 sec break between Samba and Starting and the latest Samba script doesn't echo Starting. You should be able to tell by running the script manually. /usr/local/etc/rc.d/samba.sh stop/start I suggest you look at what loads after Samba. Check the above directory.
