$ su - password
You are in "/root" now. If you use "su" instead of "su -", you will stay in the current directory.
# pkg_add OOo_1.1.1.RC3_FreeBSD52Intel_install.tbz pkg_add: can't stat package file 'OOo_1.1.1.RC3_FreeBSD52Intel_install.tbz'
Kindly advise what mistake I have committed.
# pkg_add /usr/home/user/Download/OOo_1.1.1.RC3_FreeBSD52Intel_install.tbz
...should do the trick.
