Hello everyone,
I'm pretty sure I so that in another thread but I can't remember and I can't find it in the archive. I don't search the right words probably....
I just would like to know how can I read the exact text that is displaying very fast at the FreeBSD boot.
All the kernel things and everything that starts up at this time ?
Because I saw my firewall has a problem when the system boot up but I can't read it's too quick.
Thanks.
Best regards.
razor
$dmesg
should get you much of the output, at any time.
In a typical system, the file "/var/log/messages" would contain an entire transcript of the boot, IIRC.
