I just tried sendmail -q, I don't know why I still have "host name lookup failure" problem.
AFAIK the hostnames' ip address should be cached for furture reference, so, say I lookup hotmail.com, if I access hotmail.com right after that lookup, my box should use the cached ip address without lookup DNS again.
Here is what I did:
#nslookup hotmail.com; sendmail -v -q Server: modem.realss Address: 10.0.0.138
