sudo ifconfig wi0 ssid kieran
I still cannot ping either by ip or dns. Here is the output of
ifconfig:
What are you trying to ping, your gateway or something in the Internet?
If your pinging outside of your network your route (default gateway) settings
might be incorrect. Try pinging something in the same subnet and see if that works.
