Well, you could start at the top of page 94: It's possible that the CD set you get will not include instant-workstation. That's not such a problem: you just install the individual ports from this list. You can also do this if you don't like the list of ports. It's difficult to coordinate the production of a book (every year or two, by one publisher) with the distributions (every 4 months, by a different group of people). That's your problem here.
