barcode reader, card swiper

I'm looking for a barcode reader for a bsd system.  Need the peripheral, 
and software to read it, from USB or keyboard or whatever interface is 
appropriate.

Also same for CC swiper.

Anyone aware of these sorts of things for BSD?
