You may wish to consider running PC-BSD. It seems there has been work to support RTL8188CE, but I'm not sure it's available in 9.1. Buying a supported wireless card on ebay will cost about 10 to 20 dollars US, and replacing it takes 5 to 15 minutes. Some of the laptops have a list of 'allowed' hardware burned into the BIOS, which may cause an issue booting with a different wireless card, but it's probably not the situation on your L755. -- Waitman Gobble San Jose California USA 510-830-7975 _______________________________________________ freebsd-questions@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-questions To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-questions-unsubscr...@freebsd.org"
