I would like to use the Banner option with openssh (OpenSSH_3.5p1, SSH protocols 1.5/2.0, OpenSSL 0x0090701f) on a FreeBSD-5 CURRENT system. I enabled the Banner option in sshd_config and restarted sshd. I am using protocol 2 but I never see the banner message when logging in via ssh.
Is there something else I am missing?
