My experience (many, many years) says that the question is something different: How much $$$ do you need to produce (compile) a FreeBSD version??? 300, 500, 5000??? Money talks. If ou make this question to Adobe, they will never hear you, but a small company (Ed) may be he will. As FreeBSD comes out with a new version about a year (or two..) 7.x -> 8.x -> 9.x a version of the sofware needs to be done (compiled) seldom. Let's say the ammount of money that interests Ed is US$5000.00 I am considering this kind of approach, various: 1) collect money in the freebsd community US$10 each you would need only 500 persons 2) Found an org, and using tax reduction program to finance software: here is is possible... Any new ideas???
