And menus work in Firefox 3.6. I'll have to actually work with it for a day tomorrow to see how it holds up, but I've tried a variety of things and it seems to be playing nicely.
It looks like the solution was to rebuild the kernel with semaphore support through P1003_1B_SEMAPHORES. Thanks.
