Please try to use the correct terminology. Those are called
directories, not "folders".

Maybe cpdup can help here. Anyway, rsync would be a
recommended choice. After installing them, you'll
dinf documentation in "man cpdup" and "man rsync",
/usr/local/share/doc/rsync/ - those are well documented.
