Some of the popular wireless routers have an option to email access/security logs to an account on the Internet. When enabled, the logs contain the last 24 bits of the MAC address of the router's cable modem port, (the rest could be guessed since the brand name is included in the email,) and, the MAC address of the cable modem's router port.
