Your mouse is one with a wheel, right? YOu have set "Emulate3Buttons", so you need to press the left and the right button at one in order to emulate the pressing of the middle mouse button. You should be able to press down the weel for the same purpose, just comment out the "Emulate3Buttons" line. I don't have a xorg.conf at hand to look how I did this, I'm using a standard three button mouse where the middle key works as you intend it, and furthermore emulates the wheel, much more healthy than a real mouse wheel. :-) Maybe this section can help you: Section "InputDevice" Identifier "Mouse0" Driver "mouse" Option "Protocol" "auto" Option "Device" "/dev/sysmouse" Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5" Option "Emulate3Buttons" "true" Option "EmulateWheel" "true" Option "EmulateWheelButton" "2" EndSection Note that you won't need the last three lines, if I remember correctly. -- Polytropon >From Magdeburg, Germany Happy FreeBSD user since 4.0 Andra moi ennepe, Mousa, ... _______________________________________________ freebsd-questions@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-questions To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
