Hi, 1. Make sure you have the proper fonts :P 2. Choose a generic font name in konqueror config, something like "Sans" and "Monospace" instead of (for example) "Bitstream Vera Sans" and "Bitstream Vera Sans Mono". 3. Make sure you have configured "fontconfig" so that it makes the proper replace from "Sans" -> "Your preferred font" and so on.
At least I had that problem until I did this. The problem seems to be with font substitution.
