The DRAC5 is an abomination to professional computer operators everywhere. It runs Linux, and to use the remote VGA console or remote Virtual Media, you need ActiveX plugins (or a RHEL4-i386-only-XPI). The DRAC4 is very agreeable. Pure Java, which works out-of-the-box with Ports. Overall, the 9th-gen PowerEdges were sloppy (Revision 1 had serious instability issues related to PERC5) ~BAS > notes, etc with DRAC and FreeBSD? > > -- Brian A.
