Step 1: Go back in time to before you started the build. Step 2: Install a utility called "screen" on that machine. Step 3: Start a screen session, and start your build from within that. Step 4: Detach from that screen session by typing ^A then pressing D. Step 5: Reattach to that screen session at any time with `screen -r`. Sorry about the "go back in time" part.
