mount_smbfs -E UTF-8:UTF-8 //server/path /mnt/tmp UTF-8 filenames do not show up at all on the FreeBSD 6.2-STABLE client.
They show up just fine using smbclient and mounted as nfs, files also show up fine on Windows clients. Is there a limitation with smbfs in handling UTF-8 samba mounts?
