Hi, I see that you are getting the Kernel not found message. In FreeBSD, I guess you have to explicitly install the Kernel. It can be found under DISTRIBUTION, Kernel - Generic / SMP. Select the one you want to. and let it install the kernel. Then follow the other installation steps, and then it should run properly. I also am new to FreeBSD. Doing what is mentioned above solved the problem for me. :) Just wondering why the FreeBSD installer doesn't include the Kernel by default! -- Regards, Amit.
