see <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FreeBSD#License> FreeBSD contains software licensed under BSD-License, LGPL, GPL (which restricts redistribution without making the source code available), IP-FILTER (which does not expictly allow to make changes to the code), Sendmail, ISC-Licensed Software like BIND, ... It depends on your point of view, if you call these licenses »free«. Maybe you will prefer OpenBSD: <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenBSD#Licensing> <http://www.openbsd.org/faq/faq1.html#ReallyFree> _______________________________________________ freebsd-questions@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-questions To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
