Yes, you need to configure the pipe to *do* something.. otherwise it's a pipe that just collects packets :-) you can do it in two commands like this: ipfw add 100 pipe 1 ip from 192.168.1.5 to any ipfw config pipe 1 bw 0 'bw 0' means tuse unlimited bandwidth (ie, all your availible bandwidth). You can change this to a different amount, eg to limit to 5Kbytes/s: ipfw add 100 pipe 1 ip from 192.168.1.5 to any ipfw config pipe 1 bw 5KBytes/s Packets should then flow through naturally.
