DTS is absolutely great in comparison to AC3. But to fully appreciate all of its benefits you're gonna need a hardware DTS decoder I've got this one and it sounds terrific: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00009N8TC/ Non-commercial software DTS decoding is far behind its Dolby counterpart.
