I noticed that the recent version of Freebsd (4.7)
has changed this:

net.inet.tcp.sendspace: 32768
net.inet.tcp.recvspace: 57344

these values I think used to be 65536

While I think I read that this was due to better compatibility
with firewalls and IPFILTER...if one does not have issues (or never had them) should these values be brought back up to 65536 ?

I am looking for maximum throughput and performance, but wanted to ask about this PRIOR to making any changes...

anything WRONG with using the higher values?

thanks in advance :)

Jeff
