Sorry I can't help, but I can tell you I had the same experience with a PCMPC100 in FreeBSD and Linux. I never got it to work fully in FreeBSD - I did get it to work in Linux, but it performed very very badly. I ended up replacing it with a 3com. Just sharing the experience.
