If you take cdrtools-devel, you get the latest version (ATM cdrtools-2.01.01a03). The normal cdrtools port contains the latest stable version (ATM cdrtools-2.01). cdrtools-2.01 have fewer features, for example its cdrecord can't use gigarec, and contain a cdda2wav version which doesn't work suid under BSD.
