Ted, Thanks for getting us pointed in the right direction. Turns out the Compaq BIOS that this bunch of hardware wanted was plain ol' SCO UNIX. Go figure...just about all the other Compaq-based FBSD boxes I've built have been done with SCO Unixware 7.1 or thereabouts...go figure!
