I'm not a dialup user, I have actually had 2Mb or more bandwidth everywhere I've been for the past 2 years. I just never had any reason to download the full ISOs because the mini had all I needed, and ports took care of the rest. I usually use ftp install but there are times that I am installing on machines that don't have a network connection supported by the installation, hence the need to make a CD and install from that.
