I googled "geforce freebsd" and find that there is still troubles with thw GeForce cards. The good news is that with a build-to-order, there are a bunch of cards, and it looks like for +$5 Tigerdirect had a FreeBSD supported card. I'll check the x.org wiki pages to be sure. Both sound and video are builtin to the Intel motherboard. But if it is a 915 or whatever, no-joy. On *this* system (an i815), both sound and video work flawlessly. gary -- Gary Kline [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.thought.org Public service Unix _______________________________________________ freebsd-questions@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-questions To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
