I just got a Sempron 754, will it run under FreeBSD 4.11 i386? I don't have time to reinstall the OS, so if the 754 doesn't run on i386 i'll swop the chip for a socket A.
... or will the 754 be substantially quicker that the equivalent speed Socket A? The machine is being used as a development server.
