I would like to know if any home users have a DNS server set up. My internet

DNS server I will be found or they will not propaget my DNS information.

Is there a way to get around this? Or is this how ISP's catch you hosting
servers?
Yes, it can be done. For what purpose are you doing it? If you are going to be hosting on your ISP address, you will need static IPs, if all you are doing it providing a means to perform your own DNS resolution for your "home" network, then your ISP is not likely going to care, as you will not be generating any significant additional traffic.

The biggest question is, what KIND of DNS server are you setting up?
