You're right. It's a *horrible* question to ask. Hehe, no, sometimes this list gets mail from AOL users trying to cancel their account. THOSE are bad questions to ask ::) Mutt stores addresses in a simple flatfile. Aliases are really simple: alias nickname Stuff You Want It To Expand To ex: alias questions FreeBSD Questions <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> That being said, it *IS* different from the pine address book format. Luckily, you can convert between the two. Check out http://www.netmeister.org/apps/pine2mutt/index.html That program converts pine's .addressbook to mutt-style aliases. Somebody want to port it? - -Adam - -- Adam Weinberger [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.0 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQE9uY7Mo8KM2ULHQ/0RAqFHAJ48oAHAiXRxCIcReYoYCt0c50knvQCaA78R NvKyJH4dpLMlIZXwPXuOIxw= =KlfI -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- To Unsubscribe: send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
