The best option if you loose your /usr/src is not to cvsup from scratch, but 
to install the source of your latest cd or downloaded tgz files, and then use 
cvsup to bring them up to date. (You can do it from scratch, but if you have 
an older copy lying around it will save you some download time so you dont 
have to upload ALL the files).

If course if you have a T1 connection to the internet then it may actually be 
faster to just cvsup it from scratch.... *grin*
