The rc scripts being default on are not acceptable and had to be changed to
default off. I also adjusted the pkg-message. The startup/shutdown scripts were
also merged. If you would like to change any of these, please open a new PR
with the changes.
Also want to mention that julian on the differential mentioned a couple things
and I suggest taking a look.
