Why is that? I am unable to update the database to include my HD, which is available. There is a "/usr/local/share/smartmontools/drivedb.h " present; however, it is out of date. So, I guess my question is: 1) Why is the "update" procedure deliberately removed from the port? 2) What is the recommended procedure on FreeBSD to update this file? -- Carmel
